I'm also very curious about the Epson "semi-matte" RC paper.  It's only in
rolls for some reason.  I'm going to see if I can get some samples.  An RC
paper with a matte finish sounds interesting. It's said to get the same dmax
as the Premium Luster, which is very good.

  The Pictorico Dualside (luster surface on both sides), Photo Gallery
  Glossy, and Photo Gallery High Gloss White Film all take the Epson 2200
  UC inks beautifully with virtually no bronzing compared to the
  comparable Epson glossy and luster papers.  I think the ceramic coating
  on the Pictorico papers pulls the inks in more with less stacking near
  the surface.
