Digital BW, The Print

I am currently using quadtone inks from the piezography supplier inkjetmall,
I am getting amazing results on an 1160 printer hanehmule duo rag and  the
cartridges of ink that they supply and an icc profile I also purchased from
them.  My question is in changing to a CIS system are the inks different and
do I need a new profile as well? also I see that MIS inks seem the popular
on this list. Is this just a price differential or are they better quality
or just different? and in going with MIS where do those profiles come from?
