Digital BW, The Print

I recently purchased some Eclipse Satin paper from Inkjet
Goodies, the paper weight it 100.  I also have some 190 weight too for final
printing time, the lighter stuff I will generally use for proofing.  My
question is, if I get a print to look good on the thin paper, is it going to
look the same on the same, thicker, paper?  Does paper thickness affect the
final print?
