Re: [Digital BW] Apple Cinema Display - Win

2003-01-31 by Sam A. McCandless

Wasn't Stan Shire interested the "old" 23-inch Apple Cinema display?
This link is to the new, $1700 20-inch Formac Gallery 2010. I don't
think it's Apple's new $1300 20-inch display either judging from the
details given about the resolutions it supports and about its DVI/ADC
connector.

Incidentally, Formac says:

>[snip] Formac gallery 2010 supports a true resolution of 1,600 by
>1,200, which is comparable to the virtual workspace of a 23î CRT.
>[snip]

I thought 1600x1200 was the resolution typically used on 21-inch, not
23-inch, CRTs, at least for image work? But I also didn't know of
23-inch CRTs (although I think I know Sony has a 24-inch CRT)?
