-I think that's a good question, Jim. In my experience, The Eclipse Satine paper stock is much smoother in the 190 weight, without much texture to speak of. Once they jump up to the 300 weight, it is highly textured and each side is quite a bit different, despite the claims that it can be printed on each because of its double coating. This hasn't caused major problems but the texture can definitely add a clumpy look to a smooth sky or skin, for example. It does bug me although the paper otherwise prints very impressively. I wouldn't shy away from the Eclipse, it has many fans.
