Jennifer, It is horrible to hear about the NY tragedy and I feel for all who lost loved ones and acquaintances in the incident. When we lived in NY in the 70s my husband's office was also in the WTC. Luckily the Italian Trade Commision later moved their NY headquarters to Park Avenue and so were not involved. But my French downstairs neighbor's son had an office in the towers and out of pure luck he was late getting to work Tuesday morning. He exited the subway four minutes after the first plane struck and immediately called his mom to assure her he was ok. Needless to say she was horribly shaky all day long. Also luckily nobody was yet at work in his office when the building came down, so although he has lost his entire business, no human casualties occured from this small firm. Nina (in Paris) >My husband worked on the 38th floor of WTC #2.... he left the law firm he >was at last year to work on Long Island... I am greatful... but when I >think of all of our friends that worked with him...I just can't stop >crying... it is really painful.
