Truman, Photo Rag is THE paper to beat for outstanding quality inkjet
prints.  The only reason I don't use it is that it is way overpriced in
my opinion, and is just too ivory. Snow scenes, for instance, just don't
look good on it.  For them, I use Eclipse or Legion photomatte, the
brightest, whitest paper I've ever seen. I don't worry about longevity
anymore. Under normal room lighting, I've never seen fading with any
inks or papers. If any print ever fades I'll just reprint it and be done
with it.

Eclipse is probably for you. It doesn't have the very deepest blacks
available, but they are good. It is pure white, so highlights look great
to me, on this paper.
