Duh, how dumb can I get? I checked all the printer settings and found one crucial one that I failed to have changed. I was giving it paper profiles instead of indicating I wanted to use plain paper for all settings so it would use only black ink thinking I would be printing only text, which it assumes to be only black ink. Now that I have found that error, I am out of ink again and waiting for some bottles from MIS so I can refill these cartridges. This will be my first attempt at refilling this printer's cartridges, so wish me luck. I'll probably need to buy some extra cartridges in case I mess these up refilling. Thanks again for all the help you have given me. Before running out of ink again, I was able to make a few Black Only prints. I still use the front end of Gray Gamma 2.2 and then switch it to 15% dot gain before printing and then switch it back to Gray Gamma 2.2 for saving the file. I like to have the screen image look like the printed image. If I left it at 15% dot gain, it would look much lighter than the print. Thanks again.
