No. For black and white printing I'm happy to use one set of inks and one kind of paper. If my curves and histogram are set right I expect 0 to print as perfectly black, 255 to print as perfectly white, and consistent relationship in between. If my monitor is and printer are profiled corectly I expect the print to look like what I see on the screen. I can already do this in color.
