Yes, I balanced it on my 1160 using the standard curves.

The new inkset is a bit warmer than the old one.  The "nc" curve, for
example, is dead neutral as opposed to slightly cool on EEM with the old vm.
However, there is plenty of coldness still in the toner.

Yes, purge the old inks.  I would not mix the inksets.  The toner is also
new and matched to the grays.  If you mix the inksets you might get some
weird results.  While I don't think there is a clogging problem, I think CIS
heads ought to be replaced every year or so anyway.  I'm not sure how long
that sponge material lasts.
