To all who may be interested in Adobe's new RAW plug-in for Photoshop 7: There are currently two reviews on the 'net that I read today: www.outbackphoto.com and www.luminous-landscape.com. From what I've read, the plug-in sounds pretty versatile for the $99 buy in. It was written by Thomas Knoll; the original developer for PS. So...it certainly has credentials behind it! Adobe has mentioned that it will be included in the next version of Photoshop, but since I anticipate my next PS upgrade to be a year or more away I'm inclined to not wait. Also, this plug-in will allow me to do conversions on my Mac. I currently convert my D30 RAW files on a PC with YarcPlus. I really like the YarcPlus software, but the integration with PS and the real-time feedback available through this plug-in will probably just be too much to resist. What the heck...it's only money. Hmmm...if I could just convince the wife of that fact so I could get a 1Ds!! ;>) Best regards, Alan Huntley ----- Original Message ----- From: <stevenr@...> To: <DigitalBlackandWhiteThePrint@yahoogroups.com> Sent: Wednesday, February 19, 2003 7:02 AM Subject: [Digital BW] Camera Raw > Has anyone tried this new Adobe Photoshop Camera Raw plug in yet?
