Steve, I don't know if you are aware of either Breezebrowser or Yarc Plus but they are both RAW converters that are excellent. I have been using Breezebrowser for several years and recently tried YarcPlus--they convert, allow for batch conversions, lots more--and WAY better than the Canon software and extremely reasonably priced. Both offer excellent support. http://www.breezesys.com/BreezeBrowser/ http://www.pictureflow.com/YarcPlus/Pages/YP-Main.html Diane ----------------- Diane B. I often shoot in raw format with my Canon G-2 and while the Canon software works <<well, it takes a very long time to convert and process these files. If Camera Raw is appreciably faster, I would spring for it. I have no problem with what is output from the Canon software -- just the time the gnomes take processing the image. (Sorry if this is off topic for the list.) <<Steve
