Re: Canon RAW conversion software

Steve,

I don't know if you are aware of either Breezebrowser or Yarc Plus but they
are both RAW converters that are excellent. I have been using
Breezebrowser for several years and recently tried YarcPlus--they convert,
allow for batch conversions, lots more--and WAY better than the Canon
software and extremely reasonably priced. Both offer excellent support.

If Camera Raw is appreciably faster, I would spring for it. I have
no problem with what is output from the Canon software -- just the
time the gnomes take processing the image. (Sorry if this is off
topic for the list.)

Diane,

Thanks, I will take a look at both. The Canon raw converter is too
slow to be useful.

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
