I've only just been catching up on the digests. Pease Pottage is
just off the A23 south of Crawley, Sussex (not Wessex)and due south
of Gatwick airport and London. Crawley is the nearest town to
Gatwick.

You can get to Silverprint http://www.silverprint.co.uk by rail from
Crawley or Gatwick by taking a train that goes to Victoria and stops
at Clapham Junction. You change there for Waterloo and walk - 5
minutes if you know the way. Silverprint's website has a map if I
recall aright. I suggest you order film in advance so that you are
not disappointed. Look out for their opening hours - closed
Saturdays, which I complain about.

The nearest professional C41 lab that I know of to Pease Pottage is
to the east of it at Edenbridge,CPL www.cpl-graphics.com Tel: ++44
1732 860393, but I haven't used or been in contact with them in
years. I called to check that the company still exists and spoke to
Ian Cobley. He lives in Horsham, due west of Crawley and drives
close to Pease Pottage every day. I said why I was enquiring and he
might, just might, pick up your film and drop it back processed,
although he now outsources this. If you are interested give him a
call. He doesn't stock film at Edenbridge but does at other branches
of the business and might be prepared to help you out on this also.
