Oh man, Adobe has come up with THE Photoshop plug-in for those of you 
like me who shoot digital in the RAW format. You can open a RAW file 
in just a few seconds and manipulate the image to your heart's 
content while observing a 3-channel histogram in real time. You can 
desaturate and manipulate greyscale images and as you change 
contrast, for example, you can see the histogram move as you change 
the settings. If you're into histograms you'll be wondering how come 
someone hasn't thought of this before. And all of this can be done in 
16-bit format so info loss is minimized. Wow. Costs a hundred bucks,
