MIS Quadtone samples

2003-02-26 by Glenn McCarter

We are currently users of the MIS Variable mix inkset. We have been using it
for over a year now but customer preference is for a more neutral print so
we are considering moving to either the MIS Full Spectrum Inkset or the Full
Spectrum Neutral inkset.

We understand that the Full Spectrum inkset will produce a slightly warmer
print than the Full Spectrum N and that the different workflows will produce
slightly different results. Given those differences we would love to see a
sample print of each variation in order to decide which one best suits our
needs.

It is destined for an Epson 1160 on OS X (printing through classic) with the
Epson driver.

Would any Full Spectrum and Full Spectrum Neutral users be willing to send
us a sample print of their workflow? A 4x6" print should suffice. We'd be
happy to pay for any postage.

Ideally what we would like to see is -

Epson 1160, Epson Driver, Mac, Full Spectrum, Woolf workflow
Epson 1160, Epson Driver, Mac, Full Spectrum, Randall workflow
Epson 1160, Epson Driver, Mac, Full Spectrum Neutral, Woolf workflow
Epson 1160, Epson Driver, Mac, Full Spectrum Neutral, Randall workflow

Obviously a comparison with the same image would be the ideal situation.
We'd be happy to supply one or be happy to use someone else's if they have a
good one that will be more appropriate for this kind of evaluation.

Additionally, if anyone else has any comments on the above workflows or
suggestions for the change we're considering we'd be happy to hear them.

For those that have one or more of the configurations above and would
consider sending us a sample print please email me and we can go over the
details.
