Funny you mention piano tuning...my wife is studying to be a piano tuner and her sister is a master piano tuner. Actually she uses something called a "Dampp-Chaser"- A device that monitors humididy levels and both adds humidity to air and reduces it when nessecary by heating the air. I gather these things are stuck under pianos or near them. I have a spare one- the sensor part anyway. Looks like it would be usefull, as the little box has 120 volt standard plugin sockets, one to plug in a humidifying unit, one to turn on a de-humidifying unit. So I imagine plugging in a light or a buzzer that would go off to warn me of either extreme. You can't set them, but they trigger in the exact range desired for Epson printers.
