RE: [Digital BW] New way to convert RAW to B/W!

2003-02-27 by Seth Rossman

Hi, John-

The plug-in issue is not whether it is better than native PS; it's whether
it is better than Nikon Capture (NC).

It boils down to where the 100 bucks is better spent.

Seth

=> I have a D1 and the plugin will interpolate the file to a much
=> larger size. I know that I can do this with NC as well, but when I
=> look at the finished results I am sure that the Adobe plugin is much
=> better.

=Raw Camera plug-in has a whole new algorithm for
=upsampling/interpolating images. Much better than Photoshop's.
