Good for you- yes you did get lucky. Not to bad mouth Epson too much...I have had some excellent service from them. I now buy all my printers through a local COMPUSA. With a 2 year warranty. Since I have a good buisness relationship with this one store they go beyond the normal limits of the warranty, for example, they are willing to give me a NEW, not refurb 2200 if mine goes belly up. It was also how I was able to grab a 2200 early- my contact diverted one as soon as it appeared in the pipeline. It would have disapeared an hour later.
