I finaly got to try the 4.3.11 version of gimp-print; it's interesting in that it gives you lots of control over each color and black, you could conceivably come up with a set of curves that does exactly what we need for quads, but no hextone control. It does have one huge glaring fatal flaw-there's no way (that I could see anyway) to save your curve set and apply it to another image. Perhaps a couple versions down the road they'll take care of that. In the meantime, there's lots of new stuff to occupy us. Steve
