Jerry - I've had problems similar to yours. Options that helped me: 1. Tyler Boley's 1280 curves and Paul Roark's 1290 curves are both giving me _way_ better prints than Paul's 1280 curves. 2. Roy Harrington's QuadtoneRip gives me amazingly good results (well, with curves I made, which I haven't posted yet.)
