It is all quite easy. I've used the method Steve describes very
often on 9000's. The begin and end of the ink lines are almost at
the same height so no pressure on the ink exists. A towel on the
floor is enough. There's also a description of how to add a waste
tank on a 7xxx in the Wide Format list archives AFAIK. That will
keep the servicemen away. And the service manuals for all the
wide format models are available from the same source.
