Re: [Digital BW] Eboni Black/regular VM grays

2003-03-17 by Jerry Olson

Hi Paul,

Well I got my new system up and running, but I'm getting banding that is
beyond belief. About 1/4 of the paper is white bands, and this is after
a dozen cleanings! It's mostly the eboni black that is doing all the
banding, but it also affects the first 4 dark patches.

Nozzle checks are nearly perfect, with only one or 2 little lines
missing. I can't seem to get it cleaned so they are perfect.

Prints are terrible. God I hope this isn't that new ink. I'll let the
printer set a while and try again.
