For what its worth, I found this in PEI magazine: go to www.macintouch.com/printerclogs Highlights- The head cleaning routine in printer utilities becomes more aggressive when used repeatedly without leaving the utility. Sometimes gently heating the heads with a hair dryer will help loosen a clog. There's a stylus head cleaning solution from www.fixyourownprinter.com that Epson techies use.
