Hi Bernd!

I'm just about to try printing and head cleaning again, having let the
printer set for a couple hours
after siphoning about 30 ccs of Eboni ink through the bottom of the
black cartridge. If you are having trouble
with the Cyan, it must not be the ink. I can't believe I don't have a
great vaccuum. I've never seen a cartridge fill so fast as I have with
this set. They all filled in less than a half second.

Keep in touch! I'm using the same set of VM inks I've always been
using, and never had any trouble with any of them before today! I'll
keep you posted.

Hi Jerry,
it is a lovely and peacefull prae-spring-evening now over here in
OLD Europe, that means, my printer (1270 with NMC-CIS) has
been sitting idle for abot 20 hours now.
Last nozzle check yesterday night showed some missing
nozzles in most shades of gray, while in Cyan only three or four
nozzles were printed.
Today a l l nozzles are printed in K M M* C* and Y but not one
in C.
Air in the pipeline, I believe.
I´m glad I´m not depending on this printer, but will give it a
chance in 24 hours again.

What about your OEM Test, perfect - I suppose ??

For what its worth, I found this in PEI magazine:
go to www.macintouch.com/printerclogs

Highlights-
The head cleaning routine in printer utilities becomes more
aggressive when used repeatedly without leaving the utility.
Sometimes gently heating the heads with a hair dryer will help
loosen a clog.
There's a stylus head cleaning solution from
www.fixyourownprinter.com that Epson techies use.

Hope this helps.
