Digital BW, The Print

Sorry for littering the box of those on multiple lists, but for me this is urgent.

My printer starts printing without difficulty, either a text file or an image, then both the ink lights 
come on solid, the paper feed and on light flash, and nothing more happens. This happens with 
or without using the Piezo plug-in, on USB or Parallel ports.

Anyone have an idea what's going on here? Is it something I can address, or is it one for Epson?
