I am also a happy user of the VM set in a CIS. But, I'd like to make the switch. This clogging issue has me holding off. My concern is that while the new inks may work in a prefilled cartridge, I would like to use my nomorecarts CIS. This CIS has worked flawlessly with the VM set for the past year. I'm wondering if there is a clogging issue with prefilled vs. CIS systems with the new inks. About the only Eboni information I can add at this point is that I recently (march 3) bought a prefilled hex set of the VM inks to use while I wait for the new inks to be released. The MIS site states that as of March 1, Eboni was replacing the existing black in this set. So, while I can't be sure which black ink I'm using at present, it may be the Eboni. I haven't had any clogging trouble with this cartridge set. Is it risky to try them, or is MIS just doing a CYA manouvre at the moment with inks that really are as good as they should be? >
