Both have VM-Sepia in them. I discovered gimp-print as a way to use old printers on OS X. The GP software has a lot of great stuff in it -- lots of printers, lots of dithering capability, lots of different ways to lay down dots. The two things that have concerned me a little were the linearization of individual inks and the light/dark ink transitions. Working with the 1160 has been quite easy but I haven't done much on the 7500 yet. I've just done it "by hand" so to speak with a little help using spreadsheets. Anyway, it looks like the Bowhaus guys have addressed both of these issues. It looks like you tested it out with a 2200 -- is there any help/automation in designing the shape of the curves i.e. partitioning inks? For instance, how was the light black to black transition formed? Roy
