I believe that there is a centering calibration procedure.  Check the manual
Bernd...I haven't used it yet with my 7000, its possible that it is a
feature in IJC and not in the openprintmaker application.  It allows you to
print corner cross hairs...measure how far they are from the edges...enter
that and then the program readjusts printing to make sure that the image is
centered given your usual paper loading technique.  I remember Antonis and I
suffering with a much earlier version on this regard and Bowhaus came up
with an excellent solution that was unique among the programs that I had
used.
