These are common problems for the 3000. I've experienced them myself. I've never been able to print successfully on any paper greater than 225gsm in my 3000 printer and the use of the 225 usually results in a slightly shortened image lengthwise. Once in a while I'll get slight skewing of the image. That is, one long edge of the printed image is shorter than the other. I've learned to stick with papers less than 200gsm. I've never had a banding problem with my 3000, but several others have had. It's just not uncommon. Tom Keesling Intelligent Design, Inc.
