I love my 2200 for color it prints beutifully. I have seen output on the 2200 printed with the various RIPs and they aren't bad, but I much prefer a dedicated b&w inkset. Also the b&w from the 2200 w/o a RIP will change color from an icky green/blue in daylight to a pinky/silly putty color under tungsten light. Somewhere in the transition it might be neutral and actually looks pretty good, but in general we don't need our prints to have the personality of Sybil. So 1200 for b&w and 2200 for color.
