Digital BW, The Print

I went through this and decided on the 1280 over the 2200. Reasons, a) 
price, b) no matter how much you work at it, getting rid of color shifts 
will be difficult so I would find myself waiting until a  quadtone 
support for the 2200 and c) there is a lot of quadtone support for the 1280.

Some people complain about the speed - or lack thereof of the 1280. But 
I will tell you it is a lot faster than the wet darkroom! I can wait a 
few minutes to get a print our. No matter how fast it comes out of the 
printer you can evaluate it for about 24 hours anyway till it completely 
dires.

I got a 1280 about 6 months ago and am quite happy with it.
