Well, dude, we didn't need to sign up for this forum if we were gonna print on the 2200 using OEM ink, did we? I'm in the same place you are--I plan on having a dedicated black and white printer, but it's looking like it might take awhile to figure out which one. If the 1160 were available, it would be simple, or more simple. From what I can gather, people in this forum--as well as the people at MIS--seem to think there's little gain in going from 4 to six inks, although there's been some talk recently about the six being better with some kind of new RC paper. Two of us have asked in the past couple weeks whether the 890 is the same thing as the 1280, except the 1280 prints on larger format, and the answers look conflicting to me. We could probably find that out some other place though. As far as your question about the "best". Some people might think Joe Cone's deal is the best. I don't know if it is or not. I think it's the most expensive, and I don't know if I could tell the difference between it and the MIS stuff. __________________________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo!
