I thnk I've got it. My problem was that the trailing edge of the image was not being printed well. After processing through the suggestions I received I thought it might be some buffer/spool somewhere was not being large enough. I searched and could not find how to change it. I thought that probably it might be a common epson thing so in frustration removed all my epson software and installed things back one at a time with the RIP being second (after the 2200 driver) and it worked. I put back my second printer (777) and the scanner (3200), they worked and the RIP still worked. Right now I am a happy camper. The B&W are the best I have done. I tried a dedicated ink system for an older 870 epson and those were good, these are better.
