Haven't seen that, almost for a month now I see. The information
I got was that most third party ink suppliers would introduce
their Ultrachrome cart clones on the PMA 2003 but didn't dare
with the Lexmark case still going. MIS is the exception so far,
wonder what is different in their solution.

On the European "attempt" to crack the manufacturer's marketing
policy. It is mainly on the subject of refilling and of cart
disposal. When the manufacturers change to a strategy to take the
carts back and refill them then they are within the restrictions
of that law. They still can protect the carts so they can't be
refilled by third parties. European laws on digital copyright are
in the making = I wouldn't expect too much of the European
legislation as being more consumer friendly than the US laws. So
far they have been a lot worse than US laws on that aspect.
