Bernd, Well that certainly settles the question and makes me really wonder about Epson. Why would they do this? Hopefully it is a straightforward step change between the curves. Have you tried manipulating Paul's curves yourself? This also raises the question of whether or not the upcoming Piezo for the 1280 will work on the 1290. Let us know how it works out.
