Some additional comments to the others already posted from my initial prints on the new Infinity Arches paper. I printed using a custom mix of Piezotones. Basically a WN set with custom C and Y mixes using sepia and selenium custom tints. Epson 7000 Piezo pro rip. My batch of paper seemed dampish, and had a pronounced chemical smell? Anyone notice this? Using the photorag profile I found the inks much slower to dry, and the shadows blocking up slightly. I was dissapointed in the Heavier texture version, Its very textured and more so than the lighter textured version. The smooth versions are Very smooth, I was hoping for one of the versions to be close to the Summerset texture but neither was. Initially I think a custom profile might be needed for Piezotone inks, but after a few days the prints do look identical in quality to photorag prints. Seemed to not dry completly for a day or so, or it took a day or two to arrive at a final tint. Highlights are warmer looking than photorag due to the off white paper base. Very similiar paper base to W.Turner papers. I suspect the Arches paper will have better longevity than photorag, no optical brightners!
