Obviously longevity and integrity of the print will be paramount when deciding whether to coat your prints or not. Print coating is a contentious issue that has attracted lots of debate with no clear resolution far as I can tell. There are complex chemistry issues involved with variables changing every time a new ink set or paper is introduced. Is anyone testing hydrocoat for longevity? Is it generally believed to be inert? Is a coated print stable enough to mount with out glass? Has anyone tried it on a 9600/7600/2200 color print? Thanks, Daniel
