Dan- I've just started using my 2200...and I really feel weird just removing the photo black and inserting the matte black hoping the PK will seal like it says (with no tape or anything)...I put the partially used one in a ziplock baggie. Does everyone really do this? Can you also do it with other colors? or just the switchable black position? I can tell you... I spent a FORTUNE on ink last week...was off all week and ran the printer to death trying to learn all I could about it...great printer IMHO but not sure it's really the best at everything...makes a hellova nice neutral BW matte print though...a very passable semi-matte or semi-gloss BW print (Lyson small gamut is still a bit better) and reasonable glossy BW...Color isn't quite as snappy as dye ink, but it's the best pigment I've seen by far...particularly on matte paper (though I just bought a bunch of the Redrock semi-matte on a close out at Inkjetgoodies that was really cheap and looks great). I'm looking forward to CIS for 2200... cheers, Tom O'Connell --- In DigitalBlackandWhiteThePrint@yahoogroups.com, "Daniel Staver" <daniel@p...> wrote: > I have the complete Archival 7600 inkset on order from MIS now.
