Digital BW, The Print

Hey everyone!
I just joined this group and while your posts dont make alot of 
sennse today, they might in a feew weeks after I research and learn 
here.
 . I have a 10D and an epson 2200. All i want to do is print BW 
photos that have more of a deep chocolate color/ cream  as opposed to 
black and white.
I have a photoshop 5.5, adobe elements and paintshop pro 7.0.
this is my goal for the week! 
I know all of your previous posts will make sense to me in a matter 
of time!
any advice or direction would be appreciated!
