black and white.
I have a photoshop 5.5, adobe elements and paintshop pro 7.0.

I know all of your previous posts will make sense to me in a matter
of time!

ROTFLOL, Sounds like quite a week-full. That's been the goal of some of the
people on this list for years. Good Luck.

That's funny.

Try not to be too disappointed after your first week. I've only been
'learning' this stuff for 8 years. Buy a few good books, read them,
search the web for tutorials, creative pro is a great site for one..
upgrade to Photoshop full version, get the best app to go with your
capture and output tools. The deep chocolate color you crave is not
easy to obtain from the 2200 without color crossover and some
metamerism showing up a bit, even with the ultrachromes. That tone is
one of the hardest to obtain. I'm hoping for a chocolate piezo set
myself.

IJC might be a good tool for creating a "chocolate" profile for the
2200. The three-quarter tones in the sepia profile I made tend towards
a chocolate hue, but of course the overall print appearance is
definitely sepia.

Yes Carl, your sepia profile is definitely sepia. and lovely... I'm
afraid with the portraits I've been trying to print lately I'm getting
an objectionable pattern or dither, not quite that of the Black , they
worked so very well with the soft abstract prints for me though.

I've gotten a very beautiful chocolate on rag paper with the epson
driver, like chocolate velvet... but there is too much magenta rearing
it's head in some transition areas, and has a twist to green in the
mid's when the sun shines. I'm hoping to try a custom profile, to use
with the epson driver.
