Digital BW, The Print

I just received some quadtone inks from MIS - their variable 
quadtones. They allow you to print cooler tones - and I have printed 
the 21 step grayscale for testing they have on site. I cannot get 
rid of the cool tone - moving the sliders in color management 
(yellow or magenta) does not change anything, They do not have 
curves available for this printer ....

Net - I am a complete newbie at using these inks - have tried to 
follow their suggested workflows (for other printers, dont have EX) 
and cannot get anywhere.

Any one can help?
