Howdy Sean, I was in the same situation when I first started using the MIS VM set with my 2000P. I ignored all the negative talk about my printer and tried various curve sets until I found one that produced a nice clean 21 step test. are you trying to print greyscale or rgb? I am surprised reducing the magenta via the slider has no effect. I know nothing about the EX (4 or 6 color?, dye or pigment inks?), but would suggest seeing if there is a set of curves for a similar printer and start there. For me, it was the set for the 1290. hope this helps, Tom De Carlo --- In DigitalBlackandWhiteThePrint@yahoogroups.com, "spsguru" <spsguru@y...> wrote: > I just received some quadtone inks from MIS - their variable > quadtones.
