Cleavis: I have not found there to be a problem. Most smart browsers and popup killing software is designed to look for scripts that are self activating. If you create a web page that generates a popup from a link you should not have a problem. You will have a problem if you are generating links via a timed script etc. Be careful how you use popup windows as they rank fairly low on usability tests.
