Seem to have got it licked. Windex on a paper towel to clean the underside of the heads. Sucked 2 OZ ink through each nozzle (after loosing vacuum - DOH!) 4 head aligment cycles (Still no idea what I'm doing, but aiming for the most 'continuous tone' seemed to be the thing to do???) Cleaning, purging, singing God Save The Queen and my prints look great again, no banding PHEW! Thanks for your help.
