   I well remember seeing Jerry's photos in the Browning Gallery in Grand Forks during the years I lived there. After I retired and moved to New Mexico I never thought for a moment that a North Dakota art connection would reopen. Jerry was a font of knowledge which he willingly shared. Despite the almost furious arguments that sometimes opened up on the list, Jerry was never less than a gentleman. 

  I will treasure the prints I have of his from the exchange; some I can't read others I am in awe of but all are the product of a talented artist and supreme craftsman.  I will certainly miss having him as a guru to whom the dumbest question could be asked and a thoughtful and useful reply the consistant answer.
