Hi All, Receiving my e-mails from the list today I could not help but notice the "Sad News" subject line. I knew that this couldn't be a good thing! I was shocked to open Clayton's message and see that Jerry Olson had passed unexpectedly. Having never met the man I felt, like probably most of you, that I knew him through many e-mail exchanges, etc. In my early days of quadtone printing I had sent Jerry many newbie-type questions because I had bought a digital B&W print of his that I really admired. He was always gracious with his time and answered every one of my e-mails. I very much respected his opinion and will sorely miss his contributions to this forum. My thoughts are with Jerry's family and loved ones, Alan Huntley ----- Original Message ----- From: "Clayton Jones" <cj@...> To: <DigitalBlackandWhiteThePrint@yahoogroups.com> Sent: Thursday, May 15, 2003 8:35 PM Subject: [Digital BW] Sad News > Hello All, > > I received news this evening that Jerry Olson passed away > unexpectedly.
