You can switch back and forth without using cleaning cartridges with these
inks but you will not save any money doing this. You will waste so much ink,
MIS and Epson, doing the switch you will spend more than the cost of a new
1280 very quickly!

The most cost effect solution over say a one year period is to buy a 1280,
CIS and bulk inks.
