NoMoreCarts uses Tygon brand tubing. They have different grades and the one used is the Laboratory grade (R-3603) that does not allow evaporation through the tube as does the MIS CFS tubing. I wish that I had used the Tygon on all my printers as I only have problems with the cheaper non-laboratory and less flexible MIS tubing. This Tygon R-3603seems hard to find in the 4 or 6 tube ribbons that the continuous flow systems use and perhaps NoMoreCarts has a source that MIS can't locate. Single tube R-3603 is easy to find. http://www.tygon.com/new/europe/english/europe_prod/r3603aprod.html The maker of Tygon is here and perhaps could say where to order the 4 or 6 tube ribbon if asked: http://www.medical.saint-gobain.com/ *********************** -----Original Message----- From: Martin Wesley [mailto:mwesley250@...] Sent: Tuesday, May 20, 2003 10:19 AM To: DigitalBlackandWhiteThePrint@yahoogroups.com Subject: Re: [Digital BW] MIS Ink Experience/Warning In three years I have never had a clog in the lines on my NoMoreCarts CIS but I print something with the printer at least once every couple of weeks. They may use a different type of plastic in their lines as well.
