Re: [Digital BW] flushing an 1160

2003-05-21 by chrismendephoto2003

-Thanks, Jim: I ended up taping down the carts and seem to have done
OK. I'm now into the realignment and nozzle checks on the CIS that I
installed last night. That's not going perfectly but I assume it's
not due to any air introduced during flushing. I'm still getting some
scatter and some microbanding despite a series of realignments, but
may have had both prior to changing to this new CIS. I thought the
previous system was operating well, but now checking more closely, see
that there were those problems before, and I hadn't been looking
closely enough to notice. I'm also still getting intermittent dropped
bands on the nozzle checks, though many are also perfect. The blank
spots come and go. I'm assuming that if I wait a day or so things may
settle out in that area.
Any ideas from anyone?
Thanks in advance.
Chris
